Only 192 cars came from the factory with manual transmission and power steering. This is just like those other 192 cars, except it also has the Jet Streak engine. Added Original Saginaw Power Steering with a new PS Pump and new hoses. Other things that I’ve done to the car include: Body/Chassis • Deluxe AC-2799 Spoke Type Wheel Covers • Base Coat Clear Coat Paint Job In The Original Mocha/Snowcap White Colors • Side View Mirrors • Hood Ornament • Tail Light Housings and Lenses • Check Mark Moldings • New “Golden Hawk” Trunk Script • Re-chromed The Bumpers • NOS Bumper Guards • Stainless Steel Exhaust system • Front Brake Drums • Wheel Cylinders • Master Cylinder • Hill-Holder • Brake Hoses • Replaced all the Steel Brake Lines • Shock Absorbers • New Heavy Duty Springs, Front And Rear • Silicone (DOT 5) Brake Fluid • Mechanical/electric Brake Light Switch (the DOT 5 Fluid caused the original style switches to fail every 10-12 months) Interior • (Shrock Brothers) Steering Wheel • Replaced the lower portion of the door panels • Converted the Clock to a Quartz Movement • Converted the Tachometer to an all electric unit with the original look, so I no longer need the sending unit that mounts on the distributor • NOS Light And Heater Toggle Switches and Chrome Nuts. • New Radio Chrome Plate and knobs • Added A Rear Seat Speaker • Rear View Mirror • New Sill Plates (These are showing some wear after a quarter century) Under The Hood • Replaced The Spark Cable Brackets With The Later Version Brackets • Rebuilt the Generator • New Voltage Regulator • Rebuilt The Starter Motor
